“Dunblane Craft Market helps many Good Causes”

The organisers of the market offer the tea room facilities to any group who would like to raise funds for their own cause. The Red Cross, WRI, Cathedral Women’s Guild, RSVP and students fundraising for expeditions have all recently benefited from this offer.
We book and pay for the kitchen and tea room. The charity provide the foodstuff, serve the customers for 4 hours and then keep the profit for their group!

Over the years there have also been fundraising stalls for CHAS, RNID, Children in Need and many other good causes .

Market organisers Moira and Sue said “We are delighted with the success of the market, it has provided an opportunity for local craft workers to exhibit and sell their hand crafted items, it makes a pleasant afternoon out for local residents, it attracts visitors to the town and gives the beautifully refurbished Victoria Hall added revenue. We run the market on a non-profit making basis and are happy to have helped so many deserving fundraising .”
